Pretty much every year before 2001 besides 1996 when Drew Bledsoe led them to the superbowl but lost to Brett Favre and the Packers. Other than that the only other good year they had was in 1985 when they got to the superbowl and lost to da Bears.
Adam: Sorry to burst your bubble there chief but the Patriots got more than just "one good player".

The Secondary replaced into suppost to be the only situation entering the season.. Belichick wasnt the Genius everybody thought he replaced into, It replaced into Brady that made him.. only like Aikman made Jimmy Johnson, and Peyton made Dungy. Or Montana made Walsh.. i'm getting a physically powerful participant in next years Draft thats all the solid issues the Patriots have become from this season.

Every team turns their franchise around. The worst teams in the league right now will be good in a few years because they keep getting the best picks in the draft. Yes the best teams can pick up good free agents or trade for good free agents, but eventually they will be some of the worst teams in the league. I hate the Patriots; they are so overrated. I bet you are one of those people who think that the patriots are the best team ever and will go undefeated this year. They won't.
I am calling this right now: The Patriots won't win the Super Bowl and neither will they make it there. There is so much hype built around the team so that when they pick up one good player, eveyones is like ow man they are stacked.
I know they got more than one good player; I am just saying.

They were bad in the seasons before 2001 and in 2001 before they played Tom Brady. Shouldn't you know, or do you only like them because they won? I hope it's only because you're young.

gosh...wasnt almost every season bad until 90's? i should go ask my dad...he has been diehard fan since they started the franchise.....i thought he was nuts when i was a kid!
