I heard somewhere that shaving it is hygenic, but then I heard somewhere else that it's not healthy to shave because pubic hair traps bacteria. I shaved mine off and now i'm scared because I don't want to get sick. What is true?

The main heath problem in shaving is that hair encourages air circulation, which keeps fungus and bacteria from having a population explosion on your skin. Hair also cuts down on chaffing, which can cause skin to be irritated and further encourage infections. Use Gold Bond powder for now and then just let the hair grow out -- it's the best thing for your skin.

Shaving it off is fine it's the razor burn that sucks and the ingrown hairs! Just Make sure you use a shaving gel to minimize the bumps and avoid scratching which is the olny way you will have any problems with infection!

You won't get sick at all from shaving your public hair but it will start to get itchy when regrowth starts. You can reduce the itch factor by using a non-scented lotion for the area after you shave.

The other alternative is to wax the hair off, waxing will produce longer lasting results.

It is neither healthy or unhealthy. It is a matter of personal choice. I personally like my men to have lots of pubic hair so please don't shave it. write me and we can talk about the reasons why you should or shouldn't shave it.

there is not any longer something undesirable with wanting to shave down their. such as you stated the itching section whilst it starts to advance back in it extremely is going to itch like loopy. in case you prefer to ward off the itching do no longer shave all of it off merely trim it rather advantageous and neat.

it's just a personal preference, not a health issue as long as you shower every day which is in any case.
