First, here's a few quick facts about her: She about 4yrs old; she's been treated for pinworms, coccidia, and constipation and is now clear of all those health problems (has been for over a month), she's been in the shedding process for what feels like almost a month now. So, to the "problem"--since she is shedding I was giving her a warm soak earlier today and she ended up pooping in the water which isn't an uncommon thing for her to do. She got some poo out and then started straining as if there were more to come but instead of producing more poo a little bit of blood came out. Is she ok?

If it makes any difference, she is acting in perfect health. She has great energy and a healthy appetite. Could she have been straining too hard when trying to poo and ruptured something?

It could be from straining. Is she on any kind of loose substrate? If so, she'll continue to impact and have problems. Continue the daily warm water soaks as this will help her shed and keep her well hydrated (they absorb water through their vents). Call your vet and let him know about the blood--he may want to have another look at her. Don't forget, it is nearly impossible to totally clear the dragon from coccidia, and low numbers are considered normal in a dragon. If the number gets too high, they should be treated. You might want to have a fecal checked a few times a year at least.

blood in the stool usually means the coccidia is back, you should treat her again, but be careful, vets dont tell you that antibiotics can do more harm than good, and they dont tell you that once you give the regimen of antibiotics you need to replace them with pro-biotics, so they will feel hunger again, there is stuff called bene-back, you can get it at petco, in the bird section, it is ok for reptiles, just give her that stuff every few days once you are done with the coccidia medication, it will most likely be albon or baytril, both of these kill all bacteria, not just the coccidia. good luck
