They need to have file and printer sharing set up and at least one shared resource for you to see them. If this is the case and you are using Vists, go to the tcp/ip properties of your card and click the advanced, then the wins tab. Set always use netbios over tcp/ip and turn off use lmhosts.

probably your administrator have not given you privileges to access other computers on the network.

ok I gather that you can see thier computers. a quick answer is maybe thier files/hard drives are not shared
