If you're easily freaked out, you probably don't want to read the following question. Just a friendly warning. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Several years ago, there was a video purported to be from a real exorcism. In the video, there is a close up on a man who has a wound on his head open up, bleed, and close again during the ritual. Does anyone know anything about this case (who, where, when)? It was supposedly used by the writers in their research on the movie "The Possession of Emily Rose." They both said that it was the only thing in their research that truly freaked them out and that the video is relatively well known. I can't seem to find anything in my searches.

I saw the movie and a documentary on it and about that 'exorcism' but at the end of the day we will never trully know how much of it is true. All we can do is hope it never happens to us. I personally dont know anyone or anyone that knows anyone that has experienced anything like it.

Her knees ruptured due to the 600 genuflections she performed obsessively during the daily exorcism. The process was recorded on over 40 audio tapes, in order to preserve the details.

a video of exorcism doesnt prove anything. it could be a video on interrogating by torture and you might not be able to tell the difference. the torture scene might be disguised as an exorcism. unless you see it for yourself or experiance it, you dont really know. is one of those things where you have to find out for yourself.

It's rather like what Christians say of Vodou on occasions. It only works if you believe.

The Christians believe in Satan and Demons. They also tell children and adults, quit graphically, what a Demon can do if it inhabits a human. Like those who speak in tongues or prone to stigmata, there are those who believe deeply and passionately enough to create there own demons within and tear themselves apart to prove it.
