there is no such thing as standard size each manufacturer changes according to the vechile and what it is designed to do and how much weight it has to carry for example many small cars have 4 lugs many medium sized cars have five larger 4 wheel drives have 5 to six and stuff bigger goes right up to 10 or more on earth moving gear but just cause you get a rim with the same amount of holes does not mean it will fit because they have offset in the rim and also to radius of the lugs can change between manufactures

From my small brain... I believe that there are 5 lug nuts on a standard car wheel.
