Please don't answer if you can't handle the question!
I don't need any petty answers from people who are just looking for points.
Are there any experienced mathematicians in here or "rocket scientists" who are brilliant enough to solve this?

I don't have a clue as to what the answer is yet!
I also gave you all the clues & hints that I have available.
I know it isn't much but my Professor friend will give me the answer tomorrow night.
If I give him the correct sequence of numbers, he'll buy me or one of my other friends a "home theater system".
It's a running bet that we've got going.

The answer is
11, 18, 24, 33, 34 - S: 2
I saw the method my friend used but I don't understand it.
I guess he's on another level of human intelligence or something.
He calls it a "proof"
I call it bulls**t !!!
After weeks of frustration I thought posting it on Yahoo Answers would be a good idea...
But I guess nobody can solve it.
