Okay, today i was using my computer. But all of a sudden, it turned off on me & afterwards it wouldn't turn back on!!! The little green LED light is on, but my computer won't turn on. Also, lately my computer has been turning off on me & the screen would go blank, but the tower would stay on & make some sort of weird beeping noise. Then later on, i would turn it on like normal again & it keeps on happening, the reason i'm saying this is because i think this maybe the reason why its acting strange. Another thing is, i was told that my computers fan maybe the problem to my dilemna. Or maybe its the power supply.

Unfortunately, the cause could be a failed power supply unit, processor, motherboard, network interface card, modem, graphics card, or a sound card.
Bad RAM memory is unlikely to be the cause, because the fans and case LEDs would work even though the PC wouldn't start up.
To begin your troubleshooting, open the PC's case and remove the video card, the sound card, any network interface card or modem, and disconnect the hard drive and the DVD drive - the cables that connect them to the motherboard and the cables that connect them to the power supply. Make a note of where the cables connect to the motherboard so that you can replace them. If you can't remember where the cables connect, you'll have to consult the motherboard's illustrated manual. If any one of those components fail, it shorts out the motherboard and prevents it from receiving power. If the PC is connected to the web via a modem or modem and network interface card, they can be hit by a lightening strike.
If the PC starts up properly, press the key that enters the BIOS (usually the Del key). Now you know that one of the components you removed is the cause of the problem, and it's a matter of installing alternatives until you find out which one is responsible.

Depending on how many beeps would determine what the cause actually is. Yes it could be your system overheating, that is possible. If the green light is staying on and the system is beeping i would not start with the power supply only because you have some power to it so in my opinion its something else. I would open the case and ensure the fans were turning, then i would check the ram, pull it out and reseat it. Try turning your system on again. if it does not turn on after doing the above i would take it to a repair shop because without knowing how many beeps like i said its difficult to say.

If the capability supply is shifting air effectively, and you're soft beginning your laptop, open the field and hit upon all the followers that are interior. there is one or 2 fixed to the front, rear or factors of the case. there would additionally be one on the CPU with a great metallic heatsink. verify that the only on the CPU is working. You probably need a new power supply. It sounds similar to what was happening to mine recently. I had mine replaced plus he cleaned it and added more memory for $100.
