Why do you "NEED" a nickname? Why don't you just use your real name? Besides, YOU don't really get to pick what your nickname is gonna be. Nicknames are usually born out of personal experiences, family tradition or an embarrassing moment. Your friends will call you what they think "fits" you. If you don't like it, tell them that you don't like being called "your last name here" and that you'd prefer to be called by your first name.

Since May is such a short name, there really CAN'T be nicknames for it.
Unless you count Month as being one....except it's not really shortening it and it's really mean. >.>
Just come up with something you like and make something up from that. Like my username. It's a nickname created by adding 4 things I like/perhaps in another dimension want to be. {Pirate, faerie, ninja, cat}
