Don't be dumb and listen to the fools that said eat more and steroids....

Agree with the guy who said bread and red meats. THEN you need to take the energy you get from that and lift weights like crazy.

I started varsity as a freshman at middle linebacker and tight end, moving to fullback near the end of the year.. I'm 6'3 215 and still starting at both of those spots.

You need to lift weights like no other. Bench, squat, dead lift and down bar(for triceps) are the key ones you need to focus on.. they will help you bull through the people. Then you need to run A LOT and do speed training so you you can get a huge jump off the line so you you don't have to use 100% muscle to run someone over. Both the running and the speed training will help endurance as well...

Also... work like you're going to start varsity.... it gives you an extra fight...

Good luck.. have fun

Bread, Lots of Red Meat (bunk the rumors - the protein content in red meat is invaluable and cannot be duplicated by eatting chicken, or other meats, just eat alot of different foods overall.), Potatoes, and alot of Weight Lifting.

Seriously, get a guide on nutrition, something simple so you will know what foods do what. Nutrition is just as important as lifting weights. You have to provide your machine the right fuels to get the desired results.

First of all you need to take in carbs before you lift, and then stuff yourself with some protein and creotine following your workout. Your muscles will get bigger when you fill in the gaps with the protein and creotine after you've stretched them out by lifting. And try drinking about a half gallon of whole milk at night before bed to really pack in some weight.
