What do they want now, time and a half overtime pay for the all nighter Congress session?

everybody knows Republicans are all talk and no work.

The members of both parties do real work all the time. Since you seem to be talking about our Republican leadership in Congress, however, when they complain about the all-nighter, they're actually complaining b/c the Democrats used it to highlight the fact that they won't allow a yes/no vote on bringing our troops home, despite that only a year or so ago the Republicans made a big show of the Democrats being against a yes/no vote on other topics.
True, last year's Republican-led Congress worked less days than Truman's famous "do-nothing Congress." But that doesn't mean Republicans hate to do real work. It means they were complacent with the way things were going.
How'd that work out for them again?

And you know this as a truth because??? I know a lot of Republicans, who work very hard, 6- 7 days a week for normal pay - nothing like the "big wigs".
So to make a statement like this about Republicans as a whole is stupid.
What about me asking a question such as " Why are all Democrats Alcoholics"? - Oops, can't use that example, that is true.
You get the picture - now go get your facts straight before you continue to look like a bozo.

First, I am Republican and I have pulled many overnighters with no extra pay.
However, your talking about the Senate. The idea of the overnighter was the Dems. They intended to ware the Reps down or catch them sleep deprived hoping they will be confused and vote for the rediculous plan.
The dog and pony show was an imbarrasment for the whole company.

Let's see. The Republican base is the so called common working man. Contractors, laborers, auto mechanics, small businessmen, etc. You know, the one's the liberals call rednecks. The Dems have --- actors ----. Hmmmmm.

They have never worked a day in their life, except their mouth. They walk around with hands behind their back , just a bunch of old, old, lazy geysers. They are the complete nothings have ever seen in my life, the yearly salary is just a handed to them for doing but walking around looking like what they are a bunch of of old girly, girly cheerleaders.

Show me a democrat who has done any real work. All they want to do is dismantle our military. Think they would learn after Jimmy Carter's Iran fiasco.
