I think the reason is to cut down on the competition for resources .
I have watched people purposely manipulate others for various purposes of the years but mostly to get ahead if they can and just to ruin lives if they could .

I knew a guy who would pay whores to pick up men in bars and snap photos of them in the parking lot just to have some leverage on them in the future .

Not everyone you hang with has your interests at heart . We all know that only a few positions at the upper levels exist and if you plan your career carefully as many do today its best to be able to have the goods on people

It does appear that many women that have had an abortion have stronge guilt feeling many years later. Even women that just had a miscarriage seem to feel some guilt.

Until then, as with anything else, the decision is going to be made by legal adults.

And in this case, the decision is really who gets to make the decision -- the individual, or the majority acting through the govt.

The debate has nothing really to do with abortion. It's purely about whether the govt is allowed to force reproductive choices as a matter of law -- the way China does -- or whether we want to leave those choices up to the individual -- in the spirity of liberty and justice for all.

Be careful, we now have "headsets" for talking to and listening to babies in the womb. Soon, we'll be doing interviews, decreasing the voting age, you name it.

My daughter is only 19 months and is already singing her alphabet, knows the letters by sight, speaking in three-four word sentences, knows her colors, etc. Our potential, all of ours, is SO great, that although I support abortion, it saddens me so much. There are so many other options out there.
