Well, you should at least be fair.
The fact is, those numbers represent the opinions of a test group of 1000 random people. Whether or not you think 1000 can represent the opinions of the entire population of the United States is up to you.
I don't disagree that the congress is laughable. I'm just saying I didn't trust Bush's approval ratings, and I don't trust these either.

The congress does suck... No argument there, but your numbers are wrong. Your completely full of it. Bush is at about 28% on the high end. Congress is about 24% Both Bush and Congress suck right now. So really are government totally sucks...

I think that we are all sick of the government! All they do is bicker and fight with each other. Remember the days when they all tried to work together on the big issues and came up with solutions? Those were the days. Now we get grandstanding and fighting. When will they ever learn?

and 48% is republican
since it is evenly matched in the senate, and dems do not hold 3/4 or 75% of the house, guess who holds the power?
