which teams will play spoilers for other contending teams?

I say the Royals will decide who will win the AL Central. they been playing pretty good recently.

Definitely the Royals. They just got finished sweeping the Angels, and taking 2 of 3 from Boston. They're heating up at the bottom of the AL central and I think a LOT of teams are taking notice. It's a great time to be a Royals fan.

Let's look at it this way. The Royals have are in the top 3 in the majors for runs per game since the beginning of June.... yup, you heard me right... the Royals.

You are absolutely right about the Royals being in a spot to play spoiler again. We seem to shine in that capacity here in KC. Also, 9 of our last 18 games are against Detroit and Cleveland - could make a huge difference in who gets the AL Central title and could concievably keep a team out of the Wild Card spot depending on how the standings are at that point.

PS.. Thanks for the Royals love - very few people are willing to do that anymore

The Rockies will ruin the Dodger's plan, allowing the D-Backs to sneak in.

The Rangers will wreck the Mariners plan to take over the AL west.

I can see the Giants more motivated than anyone to hurt the Dodgers in the season's final series if LA is still battling it out in a close race w/ the Pads..

Don't know if they can do it, but they'll try. That would be their World Series..

the drays will play a factor,they always put up a good fight against the yanks who need as many wins as possible
