The most lucrative, of course, is a personal injury liability attorney, but that's not based on salary nearly as much as it is on being successful at winning your cases.
In terms of salary/bonus work, I would think that intellectual property work or corporate law on the high end would be amongst the more lucrative.
Criminal law doesn't pay that well unless you develop a fantastic reputation and get to defend some very wealthy clients.

Corporate. If a company makes a lot of money on something (product or service) and they outpace their competitors, a lot of smaller companies will try to file legal procedings - patent infringement cases and so forth - in an attempt to slow the big company down. You also have a lot of product liability issues that result in lots of litigation.
Major coporations keep legal teams on staff to handle these constant lawsuits. And, they pay them well. Certainly more than a prosecutor or public defender would make.
Unless you get yourself some high-profile cases - and win them - you probably won't have the kind of success that a defense attorney like, say, a Johnie Cochran had where you can make more money than being a corporate attorney.
