We are ttc and due to our situation we only have certain days that allow us to try at this point in time. Is it still a good chance? I know the life of sperm varies, but... im cramping really bad today on my right side, so im sure im ovulating today.

There's a chance because sperm can live up to 5 days. Most are dead by 72 hours though, so it's very slim. The X sperm live the longest so if you did get pregnant I would bet it was a girl. I got pregnant with my daughter by having sex 4 days before ovulating.

well you could be the sperm can live up to 5 days in the right conditions

Doubt it. Don't think sperm survives that long.
