The Mayans predict that a Pole Shift will occur which means a lot of bad things on the planet.

(Like Tsunamis, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Volcanoes, and Floods)

The reason to them is that the Earth will be alligned with the Sun on December 21, 2012 causing to what they believe the end of the world

In a lot of ways, it's hard to believe, just like when the book of Genesis was translated into words stating that the world would go up into flames in 2005, can you believe that? Or when the millenium came, everything that was to be believed never happened...I found myself to be Y2K compatible...I also find it hard to believe that man/men/woman/women would give predictions of things for many centuries now, where/when most all never happened....what's there to believe? There have been some coincidental things but I don't think there's been enough proof given yet as to what the Mayans predicted. Sorry, but I don't like hearing alarm bells or whistles unless there is more proof. A lot of these "beliefs" are product of man/woman.

What you are asking is for people to predict if a prediction is going to come true. If I could do that I would be in Las Vegas till they kicked me out. I have some news for you, the Earth is always aligned with the sun. It takes three points (minimum) to form an alignment. A solar eclipse is when the sun, moon and Earth are aligned. Also, the poles are constantly shifting, it is such a slow process that we don't notice it. But if I were you, I would stock up on bottled water and Spam.

Everyone and every religion has been saying we are going to die since the beginning of time. Since we began to live someone, somewhere wanted us to die. Remember 2000 we were suppose to die because of computers not being able to read the year 2000 then they said they miscalculated the date and it would be the next year and were still alive. I think the world will end but not so soon. Although if it does that would be sweet id go take out hella loans get a new sport bike, live like a king and then when they try to collect my debts hahahahaha were all dead.

The real trippy question is with different time zones, does Korea or Japan die before the US or do we all just blow up at once? Yea, got you thinking.

What a load of twaddle
Are you saying things like Tsunamis, Tornadoes, Hurricanes, Volcanoes, and Floods aren't happening right now anyway, so whats the difference???

I'm not sure that they have predicted the end of the world. Their calendar simply runs out in 2012. Their calendar has run out at least twice before with no significant damage to the planet.

Well that's when the Mayan Calender ends and the Mayans had a huge grasp on astronomy and geology for there time period.

So it could happen but then again any day could be our last.
