no. if there was, an "all loving, all powerful" being, wouldn't we have seen him by now?

I believe because I mediate and I have came face to face with the higher being even my higher self
So if you are waiting for the experience all you have to do is start Meditating and getting in touch with your higher self then you will come face to face with the Higher Being the "O Mighty One"

If you can believe there is one Higher Being, in order to be both rational and logical you must believe there are an infinite amount of possible Higher Beings.

My answers to this kind of question tend to irritate everyone. That perhaps, is part of the fun :)
Seriously though, I believe that we are all a part of something bigger. I use Deity and Spirit for my language, and God for when people who don't understand a larger concept yet.
I believe that there is an interconnectedness in all living things, and that we are all continually growing in our spiritual-selves whether we choose to recognize it or not. In my world Deity does not condem or cause sickness or disease or crime. These are things that happen at the choices of others, and possibly through Other influences.
Why? Because my life's journey first taught me to believe in God. Then I found that organized religion was holding God back. I went on my own spiritual path which conintues to this day and is currently changing my life as we type.

Yes. I am a Christian, and believe in God. When I first accepted Christ as my Lord and Savior, it was like being 'born again.'
A spiritual rebirth. I felt myself filled with a holy light, something so pure, I'd never felt anything like it. As I prayed, the feeling grew, as I felt myself growing closer to God. I now know that there is a God watching over this universe, as well as a plan, and you and I are both part of it.

I'm Christian as well and I believe in God and Jesus, but why? Because I've always felt his presence in my life, but I've had my proof--I've been gifted with the ability to sense spirits in my home, including God's angels. I have felt Jesus spirit in my home.

Yes, because things happen...when you pray for a certain amount of time. and the bible..its just...i cant explain..there is.
