I am all about Romney. He is an outside Washington guy. Has been extremeley successful everywhere he has been, whether it be Business, Olympics, or Governor. As a businessman his company invested in failing companies which he turned around, he took a scandal ridden and destined for debt Olympics and turned it into a rounding success that made significant profit. And was elected as a GOP governer in the most Liberal of states and took the state from a deficit to a huge surplus without raising taxes. Not only that, but he is a good honest man. He is the only major GOP candidate still married to his first wife. I think that says a lot.

You only have two choices. Ron Paul or any of the others; just draw straws because it will not make any difference.

Remove their names and look at their voting records. Only one stand apart from all the rest and that is Ron Paul. All the others have similar voting records.

There is no other candidate with a message like Ron Paul's. It's unique and it's one that many people crave. It's about liberty, smaller government, and a return to Constitutional principles. It's about a shift in U.S. foreign policy which would minimize our involvement in wars. It's about shutting down the IRS and getting rid of the income tax. It's about keeping the Internet free and untaxed. It's about more individual responsibility, less government intervention, and hope for a better world.

It's a message that no one else is preaching, and he always delivers it with an optimistic smile. It's edgy, requires integrity, and few would have the guts to teach it, much less stick by it unapologetically. Yet, he does. In congress, special interest groups won't even knock on Congressman Paul's door because they know if what they're asking for is unconstitutional he will not budge.

Unlike many politicians, Ron Paul doesn't just tell people what they want to hear. He sticks to his principles and trusts that those who resonate with those principles will step forward to support his cause.

Message from Ron Paul
What a day and half in northern California! On Friday, my first appointment was at 6:00 am, and my day ended at 11:00 pm

.... I was told that never had Google, in the entire history of this series, received the sheer number of questions that it had for my interview. People care about freedom.

Saturday morning was the Silicon Valley Meetup in a park right next to Google. A huge and enthusiastic crowd was there to hear about our ideas, and the diversity was astounding. There were bikers in leather and hippies, young parents and grandparents, high-tech workers and business owners, and so many young Americans.

I hardly think you can find what you seek. However you may find a candidate that meets your requirements for change and leadership. I wouldn't consider, too highly, past presidents regimes' decisions as a starting point as your and the nations needs have changed.
If you read the opinion's and past history of the candidates you may find yourself leaning toward whom makes you feel best able to manage our current world situation with consideration toward economics, detente, and environmental factors. I also look toward those candidates who have an eye on technology and science for our future in the world venue.

I totally disagree! We have a better candidate than we have had since colonial times and that is Dr. Ron Paul! This man is not a CFR member and has no ties to any corrupt corporations. He tells the truth and has a spotless voting record of 100% for the constitution! He was a member of the banking committee for years and has a better understanding of our corrupt monetary system than all but the top level bankers themselves. He has workable plans to correct many of our major problems. He is universally hated by the entrenched establishment and no one could give him a higher recommendation than that!

I read thru the answers and it seems everyone is either as discouraged as you or buying into corporate media picks.

I think you should check out Ron Paul. He makes complete sense and is a man of his word. if you are serious about supporting a candidate who truly will get our country back on the right track I'm convinced you will support Ron Paul. If you want more of the same old stuff we've had for the past 50 years, vote for one of the media darlings.

If you are looking for someone to clean up the mess that we are in, I would consider you check out the people not in the main media. I'm either going to vote for the Democrat Dennis Kucinich or the Republican Ron Paul. They both truly care about America, and the reason why they are not in the media is because they tell the truth and the censored media does not like that...

I think that Joseph Biden and Denis Kuchinek have the best ideas. However, they do not have the big money of the other candidates, so it is improbable that they will win. It is a money game.
