As long as you're not in the extreme cold, not driving a vehicle for several days is fine. If you let a car sit for a prolonged period of time (more than a couple weeks at a time), make sure that the car is driven a bit to recharge the battery. Don't drive just 5-10 minutes and then park it again. Chain together several small trips to make a longer trip. If the car is not able to sit for a few weeks then the battery might be suspect or some electrical drain might be occuring in the car.

I have quite a few vehicle (I'm a car guy) and several of them don't get driven but once a month. They start and run fine.

The worst that can happen, is in fact, a dead battery. It depends of what you mean "several days". MAL B says that leaving them there for 6 months does nothing to them but that is not entirely true, there's something called "ovalization" and it means that the cars tires start going oval. It's a slow process that happens only when cars don't move for months at a time, and the end result is only noticeable at high speed when you feel a lot of vibration in the steering wheel. To prevent this just move the car a bit once every month or two. Other than that, keep a battery charger or jump cables to help when the battery is dead. Pay also attention to the rubbers of the doors, when you move the car, open and close all doors.

i work at a car dealership, we stock over 500 new and used cars, some of them sit for 6 months or so, never any problems except for the occasional dead battery. A few days shouldn't be any problem at all...

A few days is no problem, but when weeks turn into months, then you may get problems.

Cars are designed to be used, and lack of use can be just as bad as too much use.
