someone went to court, already had 2 bonds out, 2 different incidents and the judge said he was doing a parker vs state and the took him to jail. I need to know what parker vs state means?

The above answers are correct.

Cases are titled by the parties. "State v. Jones" is where the state is acting against Jones. The formal titles is usually "State of North Umbridge (or whatever the name is) vs. Jones" . Sometimes it's "People of the State of .... vs. Jones", which is shortened to "People v. Jones".

Here, Parker was suing the state, possibly for civil rights violations arising out of criminal proceedings. If we knew what state the case was in, it would be possible to look it up.

It sounds like either a civil suit, in which the plaintiff, Parker, is suing a certain state for revoking his bond.

it means parker is suing the state as a whole for wrongdoing, or for negligence like improper revoking of his bond.
