I listen almost exclusively to Classic Rock because most recent rock today aren't anywhere near the calibur of greatness as Classic Rock artists (ie. Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, The Who etc...) I was wondering for all those who like Classic Rock if I could get some recommendations for any new bands that sound similar to Classic Rock bands.

The Zutons are a great band, they remind me a bit of the Rolling Stones fused with Van Morrison with a little bit of blues thrown in. There's also Black Rebel Motorcycle club, who I can't really compare to anyother bands, but do have an old 70's feeling to them. If you're looking for a retro 60's vibe though, go with A Band of Bees, especially they're album Free The Bees. Hope this helps!

My Morning Jacket, Wilco, The Black Keys and the Black Crowes. Those are the newest bands I listen to. I also am a classic rock kind of guy.

Silvertide is good.Wolfmother they are somewhat harder but heavily influenced by classic rock.
