I agree with the answer above.
Though I would miss numerous sounds, aural is the sense I would least miss.
I find many sounds bordering on noise pollution and enjoy the sound of complete silence.
As compensation, I believe I could hear music through vibrations.
As hearing impaired, one would really get to know friends and family with a sixth type of sense.
If you have no way of hearing their words, then you would develop other methods for communications.
That would be fun.
NB. I could not manage without visual (though I do believe other senses would develop to compensate).
Tactile, olfactory and gustatory senses are indispensable to me also.
I touch and smell everything and though food is not that important to me I would miss it horribly.

I would like to keep them all, but if I had to choose, I would say my hearing.
Without my hearing, but my eyesight, touch and taste (can't really separate smell from taste) intact, I could still do all the things that I love. I could learn to read lips and I could still speak (although it would probably get funny sounding after a while).

Taste by elimination.
Because I like music too much, I like looking at hot guys, I like touching (aforementioned hot guys), and some smells make me soooo happy!

smell. this way i can survive the day better, without having to deal with others' b.o. of course, i would need people to tell me when to take out the garbage
