Republicans have a very high chance of winning the election.
If Hillary gets the nomination, it is going to be an easy win for them.
This is for several reasons. Her biggest obstacle to winning is herself. 50% of the country hates her guts and I do not see that changing just because she's running for president.
Secondly, because of the way the electoral college works. If Guliani gets the nomination, he will take New York easily. The Republicans will have the rest of the inside of the country, plus Florida and then you have a win.
If Hillary gets the nomination, the Dems should start planning for 2016.

Listen the Democrats are no better, I think their Worse and for the Obvious Reasons...They complain about the Lives Lost to a War they AGREED on and then feel ABORTION isn't taking a Life...Give me a Break over 250.000 babies Murdered just last year..I can't say that is something to be PROUD of.....So while the Political Race continues to play it sickening games, more Innocent Lives will be taken... At this point there is NO PERSON that is on a Running Ticket that should be Elected for office of the President......I'd love to see a REAL Family man get hired for the job, someone who loves his own children to be concerned when we have terrorists, someone who knows we can't tick off every other nation just to PROVE we are the ONLY super power....Like what is going on with Russia right now...Not a whole lot of Comfort for sure.......Regardless of who wins, it'll still be WRONG for Half the NATION....

I don't think that the Republicans have much of a chance. They are already preparing for the 2012 elections. They are hoping that Hillary wins and that she turns out to be as mean, contrived, manipulative and self-justifying as the books say. Then Hillary will be responsible for a huge backlash that may permanently destroy liberalism.
Regarding dirty tricks and stealing elections, that will not happen. There is too much at risk. It would be worse that Watergate. Democrats are more likely to try and get away with dirty tricks in this election. The press is very gentle on the Democrats.

Here we go again! The grade school intellect, HE CHEATED HE CHEATED, if you're not able to keep up, that's their modus operandi. How pathetic. The republican party was known to be somewhat passive, due to WORK, FAMILY and perhaps scheduling, when it came to elections. After we realized Clinton was doing absolutely nothing about the growing problem of terrorism, (we know what his priorities where) we decided that it was of utmost importance to get to the polls. After all the Democrats were picking up (in vans) any and everyone to vote, they even got DEAD folks to vote. You can be absolutely certain, that we would not be in the current situation as far as economics, the war in Iraq and the CLINTON ALLOWED ESCALATION of global terrorism, had Bush one been reelected. AGAIN, freedom always comes at a price. I only hope you can understand. :<)

Republicans will win yes because eventhough Hiliary and Obama are the two most popular Democratic candidates, the US is not ready for a female or black president. Democrast would do anything for a vote, so that is what the Dems have up their sleeve, nothing. Besides, you really want to hand the power of the US to a Democrat. Mind as well just sign the country to the terrorists and illegal immigrants right now. Vote Republican!

Ooh, echo's of '06 already. "The Democrats are going to sweep the election and gain control of both houses - if they don't, it will be because the Republicans rigged those new electronic voting machines!"
Well, they did win. Guess either no one tampered with the machines - or more Democrats hacked them than did Republicans.
But, really, the pre-emptive conspiracy theory is not required. You'll get your Democratic president in '08 - unless you really, really screw up in some unimaginably major way.

Yeah, right.
The only way Republicans can win in the 2008 election after decimating the trust of their party with rampant spending, an unwinnable war, insecure borders and no judicial branch accountability is to nominate a man like Ron Paul to restore the party's luster.
He has never voted to raise taxes.
He has never voted for an unbalanced budget.
He has never voted for a federal restriction on gun ownership.
He has never voted to raise congressional pay.
He has never taken a government-paid junket.
He has never voted to increase the power of the executive branch.
He voted against the Patriot Act.
He voted against regulating the Internet.
He voted against the Iraq war.

They cheat every election. They are known for it because they can't win fair!
The only way the Republicans will "win" is to declare Martial Law! I don't think he has anything, or any reason to declare it and it would be found unconstitutional, but when did that stop Bush?
We have the NH Republican Chairman in federal prison for blocking phone lines to the Democratic Party so they could give people ride to the polls!
When did Democrats try and pull anything like Watergate?
