He should be fined and suspended for the entire season.

The NFL needs to remain consistent with its personal conduct policy. This would mean that Michael Vick should serve at least an eight game suspension. The NFL has made a precedent that a conviction is not necessary to receive league sanction. Neither Chris Henry (suspended for eight games) nor Pacman Jones (suspended for sixteen games) has been convicted of the crimes they were suspended for (both trials are pending). This is a very serious crime and the NFL should move quickly to suspend Vick for the first half of the season and reserve the right to suspend him for the second half as well.

If the man is guilty, he should be punished according to the law and no more. It is my belief, that if Mr. Vick is suspended, it will be for the reason of bad press. He is an incredible athlete, and if he can win games, he is a contributor to the sport. Only problem, public opinion will make him or break him. If he did the sick things that have been reported, or even supported the things that happened, that is a blemish that will tarnish him for a long time.

He doesn't deserve to play a professional sport. His actions and the evidence speak for themselves. He's a hooligan and a poor excuse for a human being. He should be banned from the sport forever.

I'm from Atlanta and would not want to see him on the team. I hope the Falcons fire him. I sent an e-mail to the NFL commissioner and the Atlanta Falcons letting them know how I feel.

They have done the right thing for know. Lets remember that Vick could be found not guilty. If the Falcons or the NFL fire him, he could go after them. And I am sure he will. I would.

We need to let the legal system works this thing out.

He is innocent until proven guilty. This is all being blown out of proportion because he is a star athlete. If it were any idiot off the streets we wouldn't be hearing anything about this. I think they should allow him to practice with his team in training camp and into the season then when it comes time for him to go to court excuse him until there is a verdict reached, then they should determine what to do with him.

If he is guilty, he should be banned for life. That said, I think you need to wait until the legal system works before you act. While the evidence is pretty damning, there is the possibility that he was not involved and his "posse" was abusing his property. (I doubt this ... it sounds like he was present at some of these horrible events.)

The NFL needs to crack down on this behavior, and I respect them if they do. But you need to be sure he was involved before you act.

Suspend him until the outcome of the trial. Then, when he gets out of prison, he can start over if some NFL team wants an ex-con never-really-was, as their QB.
