Humility is at the foreground of everything I say and do for a few reasons:

1.) I am not better than anyone, but I'm as good as everyone else.

2.) I didn't get as far in life as I am without help, and it's always necessary to remember that and thank the people/beings/etc. responsible.

3.) Nobody likes ungrateful people.

4.) I am genuinely appreciative of all the people around me, and am humble enough to ask for help when I need it.

Humility (humbleness) should guide your every step, but it shouldn't overshadow pride, either. You need to be proud of yourself, but not in such a way that it makes you vain.

:-)

I think by humbleness you mean humility but I could be wrong. Humbleness/humility is just another badge to wear that you can show others. It means nothing as it is only the opposing energy to arrogance. The center of these opposing energies is the essences of what is real.

Humility is the first enlightenment.

It's what that genius Socrates meant when he said he "knew” nothing.

I don't walk with humbleness & I'm hell and gone from meek.

But an ever-present awareness of my own fallibility,
allows me to constantly learn.
Even from idiots.

It lets me know that sometimes...

…..I'm the idiot.

I am a triplet. I have to think of others as well as myself. That is how I was born and raised, it is who I am.
