Here is what I found out transformers and hid lights work for the bright blue light only on low beam. Cool for around town however out on the road High beam tungsten 55/ 65 watt was missing. So I thought I will just get 85 watt low beam and 100 watt high beam #9007 bulbs and promptly overheated my head light lenses. The clear covering cracked and almost let no light out. Darn two complete sets of head lights ruined. And after the 100 watt high beam the daytime running lamps never worked again... I would have payed someone to turn those lights off. High beam bulbs operating at 40% are not good approching a Porsche into a turn. Other drivers requested I cover my lights. So trust me stock or Silver Star bulbs are the best and add other lighting in the grill under the bumper... Or on a roof rack.

They have some bulbs called Autorams. These are the best "stock" replacement bulbs that you can buy. Just remember this, if you get a brighter bulb(whether it's with this company or somewhere else) you HAVE to get a better headlight harness. The stock harness is flimsy, with very thin wirings. It will overheat and melt if you get a brighter bulb because of the higher current. Look at this company for a better headlight harness:

They have other very USEFUL products on that website that I seriously recommend you to look at getting.

Headlight brightness is determined by law. The brightest ones you can legally get are already in the vehicle.
