I bought my ex a birthday gift in Feb and she broke up with me in Mar. Her birthday is this weekend. I know that she is involved with someone else. I suspect (strongly, with evidence) that she broke up with me to be with him. I know I am still not over her. I am thinking about sending this gift to her.
Advice...

Don't send it. I don't know why you're considering it. Do you subconsciously think she'll like the gift enough to go back to you? Do you think the gift will demonstrate how much you care for her? Just don't sent it. Even though it's evident from the question you haven't moved on, don't make it that apparent to her.

I would return the gift to the store and get a refund. Spend the money on something that makes you feel good. Try to move on, though I know it is sometimes easier said than done.

why not give it to a total stranger..go to a nursing home and ask for a single, lonely lady....(if gift is appropriate for age!!..if not check out a domestic violence shelter)
That way, you feel good, the receiver feels really good, and you have taken a huge step getting over the ol ex..on to better things!! You deserve it!!

NO! Don't do it. Have you heard this enough yet? Don't give her the gift. Sell it, ebay it, hand it to a street person--but do not give her the gift!

You are worth more than material possessions. If you give it to her, you are saying to her (and more importantly to yourself) that you are worthy of her because you can get her things. You are worth MORE THAN THAT! Find a girl who appreciates you and let it go.

Good luck.

Take the gift back from where you bought it from or sell it. Get your money out of it and spend it on yourself.

Don't give it to her, instead, sell the gift on eBay or at a pawn shop (depending on what you bought her). Get your money back. She doesn't deserve it.
