So when we start leaving they hope "the enemy" won't notice if we don't declare a time-line? It's all smoke and mirrors disguised as patriotism and support for the troops and the President. Unless a miracle occurs in Iraq, we'll see just how patriotic and how much integrity some of these people in congress truly have. Which is more important? Support of the troops and President or saving their own seats in congress? Time will tell.

Because they want change, but know putting a date on a withdraw of our troops basically tells the enemy, wait til this day and it's yours. Not a good idea.

Same reason democrats talk about bringing the troops home, then vote to keep them there.

They voted not to tell the enemy our time table. Gee, concept a little tough to grasp? How would you like to be the last troops out, when the enemy knows it?
