I want to start a new collection. I want something unique, unusually and relatively inexpensive. Anyone have any suggestions?

I want something UNIQUE. Baseball cards , coins and seashells aren't UNIQUE.

LDS Historical documents are both unique and unusual.
One thing they're NOT is inexpensive. A lot of documents have been stamped out, save a few copies that you can find on eBay.
I don't know, maybe baseball cards. Nobody collects those anymore, so they're bound to be cheap.
Edit: Unique, huh? I think you should collect turds of different species. I have NEVER heard of a SINGLE person that collects turds. Very unique, very cheap (free, actually), and highly unusual.

I stopped collecting high-dollar sculptures years ago and, on a fluke, began purchasing cast farm-yard critters that held a guitar in their hands. Found at the Family Dollar stores, they average a buck apiece and it doesn't break me.
Perhaps you could do something similar, but not necessarily having to do with a guitar. Many people collect these el-cheapo figurines if they look like angels; you could collect nothing but frogs if you're so mind to.

I used to collect bouncy balls. There are many of all different kinds. You can collect figurines. Find the ones that you like . I like dogs, so I would collect dog figurines. or, those beanie pillows. You could collect Candles, Gift Cards, bottle caps, Glass coke bottles, necklaces, headbands, bandanas, or anything!! Collect something that you enjoy.

Recently on my trip to florida.. i walked along the beach at night when the sun was setting. I started finding these really different shells. they were odd colors and shapes and super cool! Try finding different shells on the beach on vacations or ask a friend to bring one back for you or if you live close to a beach area.
