Should have asked them how they sized you.

Why worry about it though? You've got your correct size.

I don't envy you your G cups, I was a J myself (got a breast reduction).

Where did you go to get sized?

First off, it's incredibly difficult to measure your own rib cage! Second of all, I've read that you are supposed to exhale as much as you possibly can to get an accurate reading. The best "At-home" method of measuring is to measure around under your arms, over your back (parallel to the floor, and OVER the top of your breasts (not UNDER), trying to keep the line level with the level on your back. This measurement will be your rib cage measurement, you don't have to add any inches to it to get the right amount -- which is probably why you measured yourself at 36 with the under breast measurement system! Then simply measure around the fullest part of your bust with an unpadded bra on, and subtract to find your cup size. Depending on the difference between these two measurements your cup size would be... <1" = A, 2" = B, 3" = C, 4" = D and so on...

you might me doing it wrong. go back to the high end place and have them show you. if your squeazing your boons when you measure them your doing it wrong you want to be natural. also grab a couple sizes and go try them on in the dressing room which ever one feels the nicest take it. its all about comfort. you might be a size of 36dd but maybe the 32g just feel more comfortable because it isnt as form fitting and they let your boobs breath. and if you are having trouble finding a 32g bra you can always get a breast reduction. my friend got one and its alot easier for her now. can you believe they took 5 pounds off of each boob. her back feels much better.

well I don't really know the right way to measure your bust size, but since the high end bra place already figured it out and the bra size fits much better, then I don't understand why you would still want to measure. I see no reason to once you found the right size.

Since you already got measured you don't need to do it yourself. The measurements obviously done at the bra place are correct since you said the bra fits perfectly. For someone like you with a bigger chest you should stick with that brand of bra so that you are comfortable and supported.
