Best First person shooters for the PC?

I wanted something different, with GOOD graphics ….any recommendations ?

Max Payne 2. Although it's only single player, it has a wicked story line and awesome sound track. The original Max Payne is good too even if it's just for the story line.

Stalker: Shadow of Chernobyl. Great graphics, they are much better graphics than the console version.

If you have Vista, Shadowrun and Halo 2 are great for PC.

Quake 4. Not so new, but still pretty good graphics.

Unreal Tournament 2004. Not good graphics, but still an Awesome game.

Farcry. Great game, and still pretty good graphics.

Halflife 2, Counterstrike: Source, Day of Defeat: Source. Get a Valve pack. I got the holiday edition with 4 great First Person Shooters for $50.

Wait for Crysis and Unreal Tournament 2007 for absolutely mind-blowing graphics, but you honestly won't be playing them on high settings without a new geforce 8 graphics card most likely.

Unreal Tournament is pretty cool -- but currently UT 2004 is kind of old -- there is a new version that was supposed to be out late last year but it isn't here yet. When it comes out it BETTER be AWESOME.
