with some interst but I don't want to by a case for them I have seven medals but that number is going to grow so naturally I need room to grow. any ideas?

By your screen-name I'm guessing that they are swimming-medals ! Way back in the late 70's mid 80's... I took a swim-club or team t-shirt... cut a "mannequin" out of light plywood, and then put the shirt over it and pinned the medals on... that way I could separate school and club medals.
My Navy awards and medals are in a shadow box.

I've had mine mounted in some shadow boxes if they're not that big. I've also heard a rope between two walls works good for medals and ribbons.

to display medals you could try shelves with little hooks ? i don't really kno ... or maybe you could wear them,!!
