There are always daycares hiring. There are so many in the Cleveland area and daycares have a high turnover anyway. Many take ongoing applications. I don't know your qualifications, but if you have some higher education being a nanny is a possibility. Typical daycare pay here is $7 an hour with no degree. The "higher end" franchise daycares (LeChaperone Rouge, Goddard, KinderCare) will pay you around $9 an hour with a bachelor's degree (a little more if you have daycare experience). Nannying is usually salary, probably breaks down to $11-12 an hour.
Check the Plain Dealer paper or www.cleveland.com, there are always jobs on there. You can also try the individual franchise daycares websites.

I am sure there are daycares hiring around here. Check out the Plain Dealer or Cleveland.com. Or you could even go through the phone book and call around. I know from my friend who used to be in that business, not all day cares advertise that their hiring. She got some of her best jobs by cold calling.
Good Luck.
