All MLB ballparks have excellent drainage and they will be able to get the game in as long as it is not raining at the start of the game or during the game. I haven't heard anything about the condition of the playing field but the game has not been called at this time. Remember, Yankee management has control of calling the game before it starts, and the umpires take control after it starts.

Well, the yankees play as long as the rain is not going on at the moment, so yes they will play, and of course they have the tarp on the field and then they have a excellent darain system in the outfield along with most other major league ballparks, so i'm pretty sure that they will play, why not!

most likely they wont and maybe tomorrow will be a double header but you never know maybe the field didnt get that wet and it didnt rain that hard in new york. jus keep checking in with batting practice and the pre game show on the YES network and we'll know for sure about 7:20. GO YANKEES!
