St. John's Wort works well for many people with depression, it has been used in Europe for centuries, just make sure you do not mix with meds for the same condition, like zoloft, xanax etc. Some people find relief with valerian, passion flower, skull cap. These are all herbs that relax you. Also kava kava. Again, these cannot be mixed with other medications. A good health food store can suggest dosages. best of luck

exercise 1 hour per day, every day.

eat turkey, fish, bananas, soy protein, flax seeds.

try acupuncture, tai chi, meditation, rebounding (mini-trampoline).

get natural sunlight.

avoid fried foods, fatty snack foods, fast food, junk food, alcohol.

do talk therapy with a licensed therapist.

take St. Johns Wort.
