I have Drew Brees (legend) as my starting QB. My back-up, sad to say, is mike vick. I just checked, and big Ben Roethlisberger is a free agent...should i drop vick and pick up Roethlisberger?

If your league has point bonuses for things other than TD's it is a good trade. Ben will beat out Vick in ALL catagories except rushing yards/TD's. Considering Vick may sit a year, the move is a wise one. Even if Vick plays, Ben will get enough points for you...

I would wait. Vick is still a pretty good back up and if it weren't for the dog fighting stuff he could be looking at a big year... be patient, see how it pans out. with Brees starting you'll only need your back up on his bye week anyway (wk 4) Vick has the easier game wk 4 (texans) He's not been convicted or suspended yet.

No! Vick finished in the top 5 of QB's as far as Fantasy Football for the past 3-4 years. At the very least, trade him for a viable RB or WR.

I don't care for either really. If Vick doesn't serve jail time he will be the better pick.
Last year I traded Vick and Chester Taylor of Hasselbeck and Steven Jackson. Wait until Vick has a few good games, and maybe a great one. Then trade him. He is great trade bait after a few good games.

I would drop Vick just because of what he did to those poor dogs...
Besides that, Big Ben is a 100 times better than Vick.. He will always have better stats (except running) ...
Steelers also have better WR...

i would get rid of vick while you could for right now. but this is the reason you shouldn't draft a fantasy team intill 2 weeks before the season. if vick is going to play take him. if not go with ben. he will make you consistant points.

If you have room on your bench try keeping him and pick up Big Ben if not then drop him. Vick will probably be a lame duck this season anyway.
