Because we have a working relationship with most of the Saudis. Heck, I just had two Saudi's leave my office less than an hour ago. Both of them are in helicopter flight training.

It's because most Western countries have oil companies in Saudi Arabia and lots of deals with them. Don't forget that Saudi Arabia has lots of oil. Besides if the western countries did not had these oil deals with Saudi Arabia, they might have invaded Saudi Arabia three years ago.

They're not connected. If Osama ever goes back to Saudi Arabia, he will be executed. His two biggest enemies are us and the Saudis. That's why he used them on 9/11, he could have used anyone, but he chose mostly Saudis so his one enemy would blame his other enemy. Osama wanted us to go to war with the Saudis so his two biggest enemies would kill each other. Straight out of The Art of War.

If you remember, a few months after 9/11 Al Quida attacked Saudi Arabia.

Because they are not acting under the auspices of the Saudi government, simply as private citizens. We cannot hold a government responsible for the actions of private citizens.

Besides, considering that stationing US troops in Saudi Arabia was the main impetus for Bin Laden to create Al Quaeda, imagine what would happen to us if we actually invaded.

that is a good question,

"Lindsey G": there were no terrorists in Iraq, why did we invade them? and there are terrorists in Gaza, why we are allowing Israelis to bomb them on daily basis? Or is it pick and choose??

"stiggo629": this is the most non suitable answer somebody come up with. If we are sure that Bin Laden invented Al-qa'eda because our troops there, do you think that if pull troops back Al-qa'eda will disappear?

because it is strict Islamic country and there are no fun to entertain the solders i.e. no bars no discos. So the solders well get bored in few days and return to USA so really I recommend sending them to Europe or far-east.

Same reason that we are not invading Pakistan.
If we did, there would be a civil war and the Governments of both countries would be taken over by Islamic Fascists.

This is common knowledge. Or should be.
