Everybody knows where hip-hop started, and then the west did there thing, and now that southern hip-hop has taken over and has completely changed the game ( even though alot of the sh** down here really ain't saying nothing.) but the you have to admit that them boys down here are doing it (Texas, Atlanta,Louisiana, Florida, hell even alabama) So let me know what you all think.

lol...shizzle prob waiting for wu tang to be "tight" again....... ya'll "yo sons" be killing me....Why is this a debate when the east was on no one said ****. Now the south on and the eats aint selling people wanna bring this up all the time. Maybe ya'll would sell if yall wouldn't hype up garbage people like 50 cents

exactly my point the east finds one person to follow instead of supporting all of their artist........who else sells in the east. new york and surrounding areas is to big for people not to sell. look at the west coast people over there sell records cause they take care of home......... stop pointing fingers and support your side like you suppose to and stop complaining about whether songs have substance. listen to what you want to listen to and stop complaining about what you dont like. if you don't like it than dont listen to it. oh by the way the thug image did not originate in the south.... so who is the blame... and what is wrong with people walking it out ... that is happy music that the whole family can listen to.... oh my bad i guess will smith wasnt a good artist.....

The south gots it right now, but who knows whats gonna happen in a few years, it always seems to change. First the East, then the West, then back to the East, Now its south. I really dont care whos hot, I listen to the s h i t i like. Hopefully its the Midwest, so Chi-town could blow up. But like I said I dont really care whos hot.

I like the dirty dirty better than the now more popular southern hip-hop (it doesn't say anything). Hopefully they take over soon because I'm getting tired of all the "now walk it out" stuff!

The south aint had **** to say worth listenin to in a long time. matter of fact the onkly reason the south gets airtime is because corporate america decides what we listen to as opposed to the fans themselves. the west "did there thing"???? are you retarded, the west is rap we started this g **** every body else just jumped on the bandwagon, THIZZ IZ WAT IT IZZ!!!!!!!!

Eventually, someone else will have the game in their hands. Then everybody will be hatin on them, sayin they killed hip-hop.

eventually. while these rappers are selling more than other regions rap music isn't selling anything near what it used to so Im pretty sure it will die down. I have faith that good music will come to light.
