besides the obvious dent and damage. The way the accident occurred, I hit the vehicle on my left front. (they pulled out in front of me and were at fault). Right away I noticed issues with the blinkers and alignment...but now, a week later, I've noticed bigger differences, in particular with my brakes. The brake and traction light are now on all the time and they've never done it before and my brakes seem to be acting up. It's not that the brakes are old, I got them on May 29, 2007, about 7 weeks ago. I feel this is accident related...can you give me your opinion? If it helps any...my car is a 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo.

I had the estimate already done....the day right after the accident and I never noticed the problems I had with my vehicle at that point in time. Should i call my claims agent and explain the situation and they should cover it? I have broad collision...

You'll want to mention this to the insurance adjuster as it very well could be accident related. Vehicles with traction and abs often use the same sensors to sense wheel lock-up (abs) and wheel spinning (traction control). I would have the vehicle evaluated immediately as you may have lost both the functions mentioned above. Good Luck!

I'm sure it was. They have knocked a wheel sensor out of position or caused it to be bad. The suspension is out of alignment too. Have all these things noted when you get your estimate for damage. good luck.

Sounds like it could be related......a sensor may have been wrecked. Be sure to mention it to the repair shop when you are getting your car repared.
