Do you have a leak somewhere? Check oil marks on the ground at where you park and see where it is coming from.
Is there a lot of smoke coming out of exhaust? If there is, it could be piston rings and or valve seals are bad and consuming oil.
Good Luck.

Its either leaking it or burning it. BMW cars do consume oil some oil and is considered normal. but never run out of oil. You should being checking the level regularly.

That means it is leaking somewhere.
Do you have oil spots where you park or do you have blue smoke comming out of your exhaust? Oil spots could just be a bad seal somewhere that MIGHT be easily remedied. Blue smoke is expensive.
Take it to a mechanic.

PCV valve needs to be replaced , valve cover gasket needs to be checked ,oil pan gasket . also check the oil plug make sure it is thight , rear min seal is leaking, but if it smokes , definetly oil rings, and valve stem seal are worn out. good luck.

Sorry to hear that. You most likely have either bad rings, or bad valve guide seals, or a leak with the mains seals on the crankshaft. A leaky gasket somewhere will also do it . good luck.
