In the Apocrypha books there is a story about 7 bothers that were tortured by an evil King. One by one, they laughed at him, because our Creator was not allowing them to feel any pain during the torture.

Do you notice that all the examples are simple actions, following the law. You see, Christians follow the bible where it says we are no longer to live under the law, we are to live by faith. Romans 4:15-16 John 16, that the comforter will live inside believers. Only a Spirit can live inside a person. Also yes the Spirit was already there, but it was not living inside of the believers yet. So, yes the comforter is the Holy Spirit. Most importantly, Muslims don't believe who Jesus really is. Jesus is God the Son. John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Right here it says that the Word was God. The Word we know is Jesus. How can you follow someone you don't believe? Matthew 20:18-19 Jesus said.. they will condemn Him to death. And will hand him over to the Gentiles to be mocked and flogged and crucified. On the third day He will be raised to life! The Quran denies the very words of Jesus!

I suffered a terrible illness with a lot of suffering and pain. My brain messed with my senses and I was able to keep functioning because I was unable to experience the full extent of the illness. This is a very, very dangerous thing to happen. Pain stops you from exerting yourself. Without pain you can keep on going even if your body is so ill you should not be exerting yourself. If you do that you will only make yourself more ill and eventually kill yourself. That's what was happening to me. However, an annoying thing is that there was a presence with me that I was aware of some of the time. It didn't appear or speak in words, but was defiantly there, a supportive presence. What was really annoying was that it seemed to want me to face up to my illness rather than hide from it, to face up to the discomfort and what pain I could experience, as well as a whole host of symptoms. I was unwilling but this whatever seemed persistent. It knew with out the pain I would eventually die from the illness. I think the presence was God. It knew what was going on, I didn't. All I understood is that sure I wasn't well and there was this annoying thing that wanted me to be aware of myself. Certainly God could have taken the pain away but seemed more interested in me fighting and coping with what was happening and surviving.

I think the Creator most certainly can prevent us from feeling pain, but I don't think He does. Pain is one of the best teachers that exists. When something painful happens, you learn quickly not to do that again, if you are smart.

You and I might disagree about the exact origins but yes, I believe there is a way to appeal to Spirit/Deity to dull pain. And to heal. It's a part of the energy that's in herent in the universe.

There are some people who are born with a condition that keeps them from feeling pain. They usually die at a young age because being able to feel pain keeps people from hurting themselves too much.

Yes he has the power to do anything,
but as one of your answers says, How would we learn??
It is our choice what we do, good or bad. We can be as evil as we want,
but when we die, we will pay, and experience all the pain we have inflicted on others.

Yes I do believe that. I've heard a couple of people say that God took pain away from them when they asked. Actually one person prayed for his mother, she was wracked with pain from cancer. He said, God give me the pain instead. His mother then said, "it's gone".
