At times when the present kind of sucks and I think back to more happier times and events. Sometimes it helps to get through some trying times.

Nope! The past is behind you there's no reason to dwell on it now it's to late and it's over with,so get on with your life, and think about the future ahead.

Mostly, I seize the day and head for the future. Dwelling on icky things in your past, can drive you nuts. But, reminiscing is a good thing sometimes.

I don't dwell on the past at all, it's behind me. if I do refer to the past, it is only to remember the lesson I learned from going through it.

No I don't. It isn't worth it. Looking toward the future is much better. My mate dwells and lives on the past and it is torture to him and me. I just don't see the sense in it. It is past, done, done done.

I don't usually DWELL on the past, but I'm not one of those "history is bunk" people, either. As they say, history is doomed to repeat itself it is forgotten.
