Humans and apes are descended from the same ancestor, called "hominid", so we're both hominids. Monkeys branched off much earlier in our evolutionary history, and they were already a different species when hominids were around.

So, d) is the best answer.

Actually, the apes (Chimps, Gorillas, Orangutans, and bonobos) and hominids (Homo sapiens, and Homo erectus, etc) shared a non hominid ancestor.
Hominids by definition were apes the had the abilitiy to walk as a biped among other shared characteristics. Therefore the only hominid alive today is human. All others have since become extinct.
So the answer is B.
