depending on the state they will do a background check for $10 i think! lol and if it comes back clean you can buy a weapon.

You certainly can buy a gun without a license. Or a waiting period! It's called the street. Gotta know people, though. My dude Thomas is selling an extended clip AK-47 and a whole bunch of '9s and '38s.

You don't need a license to buy a gun, but they will run a background check on you. It used to be restricted to hand guns only, but I think they expanded it to all guns (rifles, shot guns, etc.) now.
The background check is usually 5 days (waiting period), depending on the state.
I inherited all my guns from older relatives and haven't had to go through the process yet.
