Mama's Family was a spin off of the Carol Burnett show . Vickie Lawrence was perfect as Mama .She was so good in that role . Very funny show .

I loved that show. It was hilarious to watch.
Vicki Lawrence played--Mrs. Thelma"Mama" Crowley Harper.
Ken Berry was her son--Vinton Harper.
Caroll Burnett was her daughier--Eunice Harper.[A great lady.]
Dorthy Lyman played Vinton's wife--Naomi Oates Harper.
Beverly Archer was Mama's friend--Iola Lucille Boyland
Alan Kayser was--Bubba Higgins.

"Mama's Family" reruns come on CMT. I use to love it, but I seldom watch it now. I did think the characters were very funny.
Mama was played by Vicki Lawrence. She was rather young when she played the part and had to be made up to look older.
