I had to kill this huge spider just to get into my garage to get the lawn mower he was about the size of a mans fist and then as I was mowing i ran into another spider web the same kind of spider bananna spider right in me face i couldnt get the web off of me and i stripped naked in the yard in front of all the neighbors I am crying ..i am now in the house but naked cause i feel like they are all over me I cant get anybody to answer the phone and I am freaking out i dont even care i used these points to tell yall i have tears all over my key board can sombody comeover pLEEEEEEEEEZE

O.K. I have had my shower and I have baby powder all over me I still cant manage the clothes I am still shaking too bad I did find my way to a "tall boy" in the fridge though..Thanks ya'll for being there.I really mean it I had to have someine to tell and ya'll were there.

Lordy no don't call a shrink. It's a reaction to being in a situation that many people would freak out about. Although I probably wouldn't have ended up naked, I would have FREAKED too. The neighbors a street over would've heard me scream.
What I would do is take the advice about the bath, maybe, and call a friend and get some company. PEOPLE help when you're feeling attacked like this.
You can also go with someone, once you are sorted out, and check the rest of your yard for these. Because you do not want to do this again. You will feel better if you DO something about it. You might also feel better if you find out more info about this critter, so you know what to do to make it feel unwelcome in your yard, and whether you are actually in any danger from it.
ADDITION: holy sh... I just looked up banana spiders. OMG they would've heard me 3 MILES away.

What about the spider? I bet its scared to death too, A crazy woman on a lawnmower just tore up my house and is running screaming(and naked) through the yard freaking out without so much as an apology for tearing down my house and ruining may day. Walk in the spiders shoes for a moment, although you have to wear 8 pairs of shoes and go apologize NOW!!!!

Try some cognitive therapy about it. Think it through. Yeah, yeah I know they scare you, but really they are just as scared of you. All that spider wants to do is run away as fast as it can. If you freak out and smack it is when you run the risk of getting bitten.
There is no need to have a panic attack over a spider, even if it is as big as a fist. Not only to they eat enormous numbers of flies, crickets, grasshoppers and wasps, they may also be an early warning of hurricanes.

shhhhhhh it's okay. just take a deep breath, go get some water and take a shower. when you are in the shower whatever you do - do not think about the spider or the web. Make yourself sing a song. Any song, it doesn't matter.
