You should call a professional. It's not easy to open door with coat hangers and it only works on certain lock mechanisms. If you have a newer car it definately won't work. A locksmith has the proper tools to unlock any door and it usually doesn't cost much. And my advice for the future is to keep two sets of keys and have one on your person at all times.

You don't say whether your car is locked or unlocked and you don't specify what year and model your car is. If it is unlocked you can possibly get into the trunk through the back seat. You will need a few simple hand tools and an hour or so to do this but since you don't want to call a locksmith I'm guessing you have more time than money. Remove the seat bottom and then find the fasteners that attach the seat back to the back of the car. When you have the seat back off you should find some type of insulation covering which will need to be peeled or otherwise detached. At this point you should be able to see the front interior of your trunk through the back body panel. You will have to detach the trunk interior carpet and/or insulation on the back wall of your trunk. If your trunk is shallow enough you may be able to reach through and reach your keys or release the emergency trunk lid release. If neither one of these is possible you may have to find a tool to extend your reach to unlatch the trunk from the inside.
If your car is locked you will be risking considerable damage to your car while trying to unlock it with something like a coat hanger. The damage you cause will be more expensive than the cost of a locksmith.
Good Luck

Make a hook at the end of your hanger and straiten the hanger out. Use a door stopper or a piece of wood that is wedged to slide down in between the window and the weather stripping. That way you don't tear the stripping up. Then put the end of the hanger with the hook on it down into the door and feel for a metal bar that runs along the door frame. All you have to do is pull up on the bar and the door should unlock. It takes alot of practice but it is worth a try. I used to unlock my friends cars because they would lock their keys in ther cars too. good luck

Take a wedge, shove it between the window and rubber trim. Then squeeze the coat hander thin, slide between it and try to pull on the door lock latch. Some doors have lick that goes up & down and some goes side to side. You will have to figure out which direction to move the latch.

A locksmith is your best avenue, but in an emergency, call your local police department who should carry a tool called a slim jim. They can unlock your car for you.

I would call the locksmith. If you tear up any of the weather stripping, it will cost a lot more than the locksmith. I'm sure he can get in a matter of a minute.
Good luck.
