Hell Yea Its Going Back In The Pan !! Steak Is Expensive !! Wasn't It Nastier And Loaded With Even More Germs Before You Began Cooking It in The First Place? You Didn't Have A Problem With It Then, Right? Think About It..........

Throw out a STEAK? Are you on CRACK? Look, we have VERY good city tap water. I would run it under the tap really well. Season it up again. And throw it into another pan, as to not subject anyone else to the "floor steak."
A)I am too broke to be throwing away STEAK like that
B)Even if I wasn't, why throw away a blessing like STEAK!!!!??

I'd rinse it off first, pat it dry, then re-season it before returning it to the pan. I do have issues with germs, but we're talking about steak, folks.

I would rinse it off before I put it back in the pan. You may be able to fry the germs to death, but fried or not, dirt , lint, and the occasional insect limb doesn't sound like a pleasant garnish.

Yes and I would add some extra seasoning for good measure. There's nothing like a good steak rub.

What !!!! .... Steak.... If it was on the floor for 1 hour I'd just turn up the flame...and make a zesty gravy to go with it.

No, I would take it to the sink and wash it off, before I put it back in the pan.
