I installed a boost gauge and am hoping to only up my boost a couple of PSI's. Will it hurt my engine too much if i just go up alittle bit? I have a 2002 1.8T Jetta.

I wouldn't recommend you do that unless you really know what your doing.

To properly raise the boost of your car you should also be making other adjustments to the car beyond simply adding boost.

Add too much boost without proper fuel or timing and you'll quickly have a dead engine.

You are taking the risk of blowing the engine. When you stick more air into the cylinders, you'll also need more fuel. Without the fuel, you'll run it lean and it could pop the engine. Good luck.
